Kristin Davis 'Profoundly Sad' as 'And Just Like That...' Ends After Three Seasons

The 'Sex and the City' spin-off 'And Just Like That...' is coming to an end after three seasons, showrunner Michael Patrick King confirmed. The series, currently airing its third season on HBO Max, will conclude with a two-part finale extended from 10 to 12 episodes.

King said in a statement: 'While I was writing the last episode of And Just Like That… season 3, it became clear to me that this might be a wonderful place to stop.' He added that he delayed the announcement to avoid overshadowing the season.

Kristin Davis, who plays Charlotte, expressed her sadness on social media, reposting King's statement and writing: 'I am profoundly sad. I love our whole beautiful cast and crew. 400 artisans working so hard on our show with deep love.' She also told fans: 'We love you forever and ever.'

Sarah Jessica Parker paid tribute to her character Carrie Bradshaw, whom she has played since 1998. She wrote: 'Carrie Bradshaw has dominated my professional heartbeat for 27 years. I think I have loved her most of all.' Cynthia Nixon, who plays Miranda, reshared Parker's post, adding: 'Thank you Sarah Jessica Parker (& our gorgeous cast & crew!) for the quarter century of memories and friendships.'

Other cast members also reacted. Evan Handler (Harry) posted 'And So it Goes,' while Alexa Swinton (Rock) said she was 'so beyond lucky' for the experience. Alexander Bello (Henry) noted the show had been with him from seventh grade to college.
