Celebrity Traitors star King Kenny has directly addressed romance rumours with co-star Maya Jama, stating that the pair simply "laugh at it" when asked about the speculation.
Speaking during a radio interview on Capital XTRA, the 29-year-old YouTube star responded to claims that he and the TV presenter had moved from friends to lovers after he was photographed leaving her north London flat following the show's finale.

The speculation began when King Kenny was photographed leaving Maya Jama's north London flat after the final episode of Celebrity Traitors Series 2. Fans also noticed matching interior backgrounds in social media posts from the same period.
Kenny joined Jama and other cast members to watch the final episode and attended her annual Halloween party in London. Despite the rumours, insiders have claimed their relationship is strictly platonic.
Friends say relationship is platonic
Those close to Jama clarified that she is single and that she and Kenny are just good friends. They noted that a wider group of friends was staying over to celebrate Halloween and watch the series final, with Kenny sleeping on the sofa.
During the Capital XTRA interview, host Robert Bruce asked Kenny about the paparazzi attention, saying: "They (paparazzi) are all taking pictures of you and Maya, you and Maya… What's going on?! Why are they doing that to you?"
Kenny's response
Kenny replied: "I don't know, man," as he attempted to shut down the questioning. However, Bruce continued to probe him and asked if he and Maya discussed sparking romance rumours: "Do you guys talk about that kind of stuff? Like, 'aw look what they're doing.' What's it like for you guys?"
Admitting they find it funny, Kenny said: "Uh, yeah, we just laugh at it, to be honest. That's just what happens, innit, when you're in the limelight? You've just got to laugh at it and move on."
Finale details and past relationships
Kenny and Maya both reached the final of Celebrity Traitors Series 2, but Maya left at the final roundtable with Kenny voting her off. The series was eventually won by comedian Romesh Ranganathan and musician Sebastian Croft after they banished Kenny, James Blunt and Leigh-Anne Pinnock in the final stages.
Maya Jama's public dating history includes several high-profile relationships. Most recently, she was linked to Manchester City and Portuguese footballer Rúben Dias after being spotted together on dates and vacations. Their relationship lasted until early 2026, when Dias confirmed they had separated.
Jama and British grime artist Stormzy had an on-off relationship over the years, first meeting in October 2014 and dating from early 2015.
