Khloe Kardashian and Scott Disick demonstrated that their blended family bond remains as strong as ever as they celebrated his 43rd birthday with a dinner in Malibu on Friday evening. The television personality, who shares three children with Kourtney Kardashian, 46, was joined by Khloe and their mutual friend Malika Haqq for the festivities.
Scott Disick's Birthday Outing
For the occasion, Scott opted for a casual yet stylish ensemble, wearing a black bomber jacket over a black T-shirt paired with light blue jeans. He completed his look with white Nike Air Force Ones and a long gold chain. Khloe also chose a relaxed outfit, sporting light blue jeans, a black long-sleeved top, and large tinted sunglasses.
As they departed the upscale restaurant, the duo appeared in high spirits, walking arm in arm to a black SUV, showcasing their close relationship.
History of Scott and Kourtney
Scott unofficially became part of the Kardashian/Jenner family when he began dating Kourtney in 2006. Their on-and-off relationship continued until 2015, during which they welcomed three children: Mason (born December 14, now 16), Penelope (13), and Reign (10). Their tumultuous romance was prominently featured on the E! reality series Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
Despite their separation, Scott, who was an only child and lost both parents in 2013 and 2014, remains close with his ex-girlfriend's family. Following their breakup, Kourtney dated Algerian model Younes Bendjima from 2016 to 2018. In 2021, she went public with her relationship with longtime friend and neighbor Travis Barker, 50. The couple married in Italy in 2022 and welcomed their son Rocky in November 2023. Their blended family now includes Kourtney's three children, Travis's kids Landon (22) and Alabama (20, on December 24) from his marriage to Shanna Moakler, as well as Shanna's daughter Atiana De La Hoya (26).
Recent Tensions Over Homeschooling
In May, an insider revealed to Daily Mail that Scott believes Kourtney 'has changed' and is 'irresponsible' for wanting to homeschool their children, preferring they attend the family's 'dated' alma mater, Sierra Canyon School. 'Scott values hard work and sees school as essential and would never allow his kids to not attend,' the source claimed. 'If they are always at home around Kourtney they will miss out on substantial knowledge and teachings that Scott feels every kid should experience.'
Scott, who dropped out of Ross School in New York, reportedly also believes Kourtney's household with Travis 'can be chaotic' and 'is especially uneasy with the influence of his 19-year-old daughter Alabama.' Interestingly, Kourtney, co-founder of Lemme, is one of the few college graduates in her family, holding a bachelor's degree in theatre arts from the University of Arizona.
