Kerry Katona has shared a series of heartwarming photographs from a family holiday in Marbella, where she celebrated her son Max's 18th birthday. The 45-year-old former Atomic Kitten singer posed for pictures with her boyfriend Paolo Margaglione and her children, despite recently suffering a miscarriage.
In the images posted to Instagram, Kerry can be seen smiling broadly while dressed casually in a grey hoodie and baseball cap, with her family in the background. Another picture shows her in a yellow dress and matching heels ahead of a date night with Paolo. She captioned the post: "Round 2 of Marbella for @maxwell_katona5 18th birthday."
However, behind the cheerful facade, Kerry has been coping with the loss of a baby. She revealed on Paul C Brunson's podcast We Need To Talk that she discovered she was pregnant with Paolo's child during the finale of Celebs Go Dating. The couple, who met on the show in April 2025, announced their relationship two months later and moved in together after eight weeks.
Speaking on the podcast, Paolo said he could "smell it on her" and correctly guessed she was pregnant. Kerry confirmed the pregnancy test later turned positive, adding: "Seven years I never fell pregnant." She said she considered abortion but felt "it was made from love". Tragically, she miscarried, and later suffered a second miscarriage when she was four weeks pregnant.
This is not the first time Kerry has experienced a miscarriage. In her memoir Kerry Katona: Whole Again, she wrote about falling pregnant during a "rebound fling" after the death of her ex-husband George Kay. That pregnancy also ended in miscarriage, and she required surgery to remove the foetus.
Kerry is mother to five children: Molly, 23, and Lily-Sue, 22, from her marriage to Brian McFadden; Heidi, 19, and Max, 18, from her marriage to Mark Croft; and Dylan-Jorge, 10, from her relationship with the late George Kay.
