Kerry Katona Admits Parenting Mistakes Burden Her Children

Kerry Katona has made a candid confession about her family life, stating that her mistakes have become a burden for her children. The former Atomic Kitten star appeared on Good Morning Britain on Friday (March 13), speaking to hosts Kate Garraway and Ranvir Singh about her parenting journey.

Katona, who has five children – Molly, 23, Lilly-Sue, 22, Heidi, 18, Max, 17, and DJ, ten – admitted: 'I've made the mistakes so they don't have to. Unfortunately my mistakes have become my children's burden because of who I am.' She added that she always encourages them to be 'a better version of me' and to be their own person.

The singer also discussed her relationship with her children, saying she is 'the only consistency that they've ever had in their lives' and that they tell her everything. She joked that sometimes she wants to 'cut my ears off, scream into a pillow, and then go bleach my eyeballs,' but emphasised that being a mum is everything to her.

On the topic of her love life, Katona revealed she has been with partner Paolo Margaglione for a year, having met him on Celebs Go Dating. She described him as 'the most beautiful soul' and said she feels blessed. However, the couple are not rushing into marriage or having more children, as they are focused on enjoying date nights and juggling their families.
