Kerry Katona has showcased a dramatic three stone weight loss transformation, crediting the Skinny Revolution programme for her new figure. The 38-year-old former Atomic Kitten star shared a side-by-side comparison on social media, featuring a current photo in a floor-length evening gown alongside an older image in a pink tropical-print bikini.
In the post, Katona wrote: “Losing weight has boosted my self confidence and I feel utterly amazing.” The Warrington-born TV personality has a history of public struggles with body image and mental health, having been diagnosed with bipolar disorder. She previously told Piers Morgan on Good Morning Britain that coming off her bipolar medication contributed to her weight loss and improved wellbeing.
Katona, who has endorsed Herbalife in the past, is now promoting Skinny Revolution. She is set to appear on the E4 dating show Celebs Go Dating following her split from toyboy Ryan Mahoney. The singer revealed that her 17-year-old daughter Molly, from her marriage to Brian McFadden, encouraged her to find a new partner.
Katona has five children: Molly, Lily-Sue (16), Heidi (11), Maxwell (10), and Dylan (5). She has described Brian McFadden as her “favourite husband” despite calling him a “d***head” for recent comments about marriage.
