Kerry Katona's Emotional Confession Moves Celebs Go Dating Expert to Tears

Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn, the resident expert on Celebs Go Dating, has revealed that she was moved to tears off-camera after a heartfelt conversation with Kerry Katona. The former Atomic Kitten singer, 44, is seeking love on the E4 series for a second time following her split from Ryan Mahoney last year.

During an emotional exchange with dating gurus Anna Williamson and Dr Tara, the mother of five tearfully discussed the breakdown of her six-year relationship with Mahoney. She explained that they argued frequently because he was not emotionally available, stating: 'I don't want diamond rings, it's the little things.' The relationship ended when Mahoney said he was unsure if he still loved her, leaving Katona devastated.

Reflecting on her love life, which includes three previous marriages to Brian McFadden, Mark Croft, and the late George Kay, Katona expressed a sense of self-reliance: 'I never had anyone to look after me. I've had to be my own hero, which I'm really proud of, but yeah, I struggle with that.' She also admitted to feeling lonely without a partner, despite being a devoted mother.

Dr Tara shared the impact of Katona's story: 'It was very emotional. I actually had tears in my eyes after that session but it's not on camera. I turned to Anna and said, 'no one in this world should have to go through so much trauma' but yet look at her and you can't even tell.' She praised Katona for remaining positive and romantically open despite her experiences.
