Kerry Katona Reveals Brian McFadden's Stag Night Betrayal & OnlyFans Millions
Kerry Katona on Brian McFadden Betrayal and OnlyFans Success

Kerry Katona has spoken candidly about her painful past with ex-husband Brian McFadden, revealing she hoped he would be her 'knight in shining armour' before his devastating stag night infidelity.

A Doomed Romance and a Stag Night Betrayal

The Atomic Kitten star, 45, married Westlife's Brian McFadden, also 45, in 2002. The couple, who share daughters Molly, 24, and Lilly-Sue, 22, divorced in 2006. However, the relationship was troubled from the outset, with McFadden later admitting he cheated on Kerry with a lap dancer on the night of his stag do.

Speaking to The Times, Kerry explained her mindset entering the marriage. 'I thought he was my "forever". We were puppies, babies, back then,' she said. 'I wanted him to be my knight in shining armour and rescue me from my old life - but then he slept with a stripper on his stag night and was unfaithful.'

She has since connected this betrayal to deeper childhood trauma, stemming from a difficult upbringing with her mother Sue, who had mental health issues, and time spent in foster care. The infidelity reportedly reignited these wounds linked to seeking approval.

Building a Multi-Million Pound Empire on OnlyFans

In a stark contrast to her past financial struggles, Kerry Katona has revealed she has earned 'millions of pounds' since joining the adult content platform OnlyFans. She launched her page in 2020 during the Coronavirus pandemic.

The financial turnaround was immediate and dramatic. 'I made about £175,000 in the first month,' she disclosed on Paul C. Brunson's podcast, We Need To Talk. 'I've made millions on it and I'll continue to do it because it's just too much money to turn down.'

She emphasised that all earnings are for her children, insisting they are 'too good' for the site and will not follow in her footsteps. Writing in her OK! Magazine column, she stated she plans to continue on OnlyFans into retirement and even hinted a celebrity nearing 70 is considering joining.

Overcoming Bankruptcy and Embracing Choice

Kerry's OnlyFans success comes after a well-documented history of financial hardship. She was first declared bankrupt in 2008 after failing to pay an £82,000 tax bill, losing her £1.25 million home in Wilmslow. She filed for bankruptcy again in 2013, with further financial woes reported in 2018.

The media personality has previously said she contemplated suicide during the 2008 bankruptcy. Now, she champions her work on OnlyFans as empowering. 'For me, this is all about women celebrating themselves and their sexuality without shame,' she told The Times.

'This is not just about young people. I get that some have a bad opinion about it - but I'm a grown-up and it's my choice. Would I want my kids to do it? Absolutely not, haha!' she added, reinforcing her stance that the platform is her personal business decision.
