Kerry Katona compared herself to Britney Spears during an Instagram Live on Saturday afternoon. The Celebs Go Dating star, 44, who recently jetted off abroad with her children for a family holiday, was told by a fan she resembled the pop star. Responding, she said: 'I look like Britney Spears? Am I acting like her as well? I used to get called the British version of Britney Spears.'
Katona, who rose to fame in the late 1990s with Atomic Kitten, has previously voiced concerns about Spears. In a magazine column, she wrote: 'I think it's awful what's going on with Britney Spears... she is quite erratic.' She later expressed worry over Spears' Instagram videos, including one where she danced with knives.
During the same Instagram Live, Katona recounted holiday mishaps, saying she arrived at the apartment without a key and forgot to hire a car. 'I've got no car because I'm a n**head,' she admitted, relying on takeaway delivery services. She added that her daughter Heidi had taken the sun on the balcony, leaving her in the shade.
The family holiday comes months after Katona split from former fiancé Ryan Mahoney. She has since signed up for Celebs Go Dating and grown close to personal trainer Paolo Margaglione. However, a source said she is 'being very cautious' about going public with the romance, despite being 'smitten'.
