Kerry Katona has described her friendship with Katie Price as 'toxic' following a reported falling-out after their partners clashed during a holiday in Dubai. The Atomic Kitten star, 45, has been notably distant from Price since an alleged altercation between Price's husband Lee Andrews and Katona's boyfriend Paolo Margaglione.
The trouble began when the two couples vacationed together in Dubai earlier this year. According to reports, Lee Andrews allegedly punched Paolo Margaglione after a heated exchange of words at their hotel. Katona was not present during the incident, but subsequently unfollowed Andrews on Instagram.
A source told The Sun: 'At the end of the day, her loyalties are with Paolo, not Katie and her new man. She is still on speaking terms with Katie and following her, but she doesn't want anything to do with Lee now.'
Despite the tension, the two women appeared to have mended their friendship recently. Katie Price commented on a promotional post by Katona for CBD oil, writing 'It's brilliant', to which Katona replied 'Isn't it'. However, Price's Instagram account has since been deactivated, hours after she claimed to have located her missing husband in a Dubai jail.
Katie Price, 48, married Lee Andrews in January, just days after they first met. Since then, Andrews has faced accusations of being an AI, a scammer, and being kidnapped, and has allegedly ended up behind bars. Price has swung between attempts to reconcile with her husband and making jokes about his disappearance.
