I'm a Celebrity star Kendra Wilkinson reveals drug addiction nearly killed her at 14

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! star Kendra Wilkinson has revealed that her teenage drug addiction nearly killed her. In her autobiography, the 29-year-old former Playboy model describes how she choked on her own blood after taking a cocktail of drugs at the age of 14.

Wilkinson, who was addicted to crystal meth, cocaine and LSD, said she 'almost didn't survive' the incident. She recalled her eyes rolling back and shaking as she choked on blood, while her friends refused to call an ambulance for fear of getting into trouble.

The star began taking drugs at 12 after her parents' divorce, using them to fill a void left by her father. She started with cannabis and cocaine before moving on to LSD and then crystal meth. She would ask her mother for lunch money to fund her habit.

After a suicide attempt and a stay in a psychiatric ward, Wilkinson quit drugs following the near-death episode. She later joined Hugh Hefner's harem at the Playboy Mansion, but described the experience as 'the loneliest' she had ever been.

Wilkinson, who has two children with her estranged husband Hank Baskett, entered the Australian jungle as a contestant on I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! earlier this month.
