Nomination is 'huge' for the family

Speaking to This Morning hosts Craig Doyle and Angela Scanlon via video link, Kelvin admitted that receiving the nomination was a major moment for the family. Craig broke the news during the interview, prompting a delighted reaction from Kelvin, who appeared on screen sporting a full beard.

Stating that the moment was "huge" for the family, Kelvin said he was impressed that the family show was up for five awards.

The nomination comes as Fletcher's Family Farm continues to attract a growing audience on ITVX. The series recorded 6.3 million streams during the first five months of this year, a significant increase on the 1.7 million streams it received during the same period in 2025.

Two more series confirmed

There is also plenty more farming action to come, with Liz and Kelvin confirming that the show has been renewed for two additional series. Angela revealed the news during their This Morning appearance, asking the couple how it felt to know viewers would be seeing even more of their family.

Liz joked that audiences might eventually be "sick to death of us" because they are spending so much time on television, before revealing that filming on the next series is already well underway. The family have now completed filming for series five, finishing with their maize event, and have moved straight into production on series six.

The programme follows Kelvin, Liz and their four children as they adapt to life on their 120-acre farm in the Peak District.

Since moving into farming, the family have documented the realities of learning the trade from scratch, from the everyday jobs and hard graft to the financial risks and sacrifices involved in making their rural dream a reality.

The series airs in both a Sunday morning and Monday evening slot and has continued to build a loyal following.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1.
