Kelsey Parker, widow of The Wanted singer Tom Parker, has received an outpouring of support from fans after sharing a heartfelt tribute to mark the fourth anniversary of his death. Parker died at age 33 from complications of glioblastoma, an aggressive brain tumour, while receiving hospice care in London.
In her tribute, Kelsey posted a compilation video of home videos showing Parker with their children, Aurelia and Bodhi, and dancing on their wedding day. She wrote: 'Dear Tom, my Papi … It’s been 4 years… 4 whole years without you. Words can’t even explain how much I miss you.' She expressed a wish for 'one more day' to laugh, sing, and be together as parents.
Kelsey spoke about the challenges of raising their children alone, noting that Aurelia, now six, is Parker's 'double' in many ways, and Bodhi, four, has grown into 'the most beautiful, kindest soul'. She also referenced the stillbirth of their third child, Phoenix, in June last year, saying Parker is 'up there looking after' their baby boy.
Fans flooded the comments with messages of love and support. One wrote: 'Even as “just a fan” I still think of him now, he really touched people’s lives.' Another said: 'He is so missed. He was the most genuine soul. 4 years later and it still feels so raw.' Many thanked Kelsey for continuing to share memories of Tom.
Since Parker's death, Kelsey has become an author and motivational speaker, speaking openly about her grief. She has dated electrician Sean Boggans and is now in a relationship with tree surgeon Will Lindsay, with whom she experienced the stillbirth of their son.
