Kelly Osbourne in tears over son's Ozzy tribute

Kelly Osbourne broke down in tears after her son, Sidney, presented her with a heartfelt tribute to her late father, Ozzy, during her birthday celebrations earlier this week. The television personality marked her 42nd birthday, her second without Ozzy, who died aged 76 in July 2025. His cause of death was recorded as an out-of-hospital cardiac arrest, acute myocardial infarction, coronary artery disease and Parkinson's disease with autonomic dysfunction (joint causes).

A Bat-Shaped Keepsake

Sidney gave his mother a small keyring shaped like a bat, a nod to the late Prince of Darkness. As Kelly read the accompanying card, she said: "When life turns you upside down, look ahead and don't look around."

Sharing the moment on Instagram, Kelly wrote: "If today was not emotional enough already, but then my favourite little man in the world went and did this! I'm so lucky that I get to be his mummy! He truly is the best thing that has ever happened to me!"

An Outpouring of Support

The post, which has been liked over 254,000 times, drew a wave of supportive messages. Paloma Faith commented: "Omg this is the most adorable." Paris Hilton added: "Happy birthday love." Coco Star wrote: "Bless him, he is a big light in the world." One fan remarked: "You really are blessed with the most incredible little boy, Kelly. What such gorgeous gifts, and I just love how excited he always is to give you your presents from him. He is so precious."

Return to England

Kelly recently spoke about her decision to leave Los Angeles and return to England, where her son will now grow up. She explained: "I want my son to have a different childhood to mine. At first, when he was younger, and we were on the road a lot [with Sidney's dad's band Slipknot], I was like: 'This is great. He gets to grow up just like me.' And then I thought: 'No, this actually isn't healthy for him, and this is exposing him to too much. I've got to get him home.' We always said that if we ever have a child, he's going to be raised in England."

The former singer has also publicly demanded child support from Sidney's father, Sid Wilson. In an Instagram post, she wrote: "Wake the f*** up and take responsibility, I will not take your sh*t anymore! I'm done. I want to be happy and I have a beautiful son to raise." In another post, she added: "Also while I'm at it can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?" She later wrote: "Strange how the loudest defence of the guilty is rarely innocence... It's distraction. When the mask slips, they don't face the mirror; they throw it at someone else. I also heard that when you break a mirror you get 7 years bad luck! Or is that just karma? This is why I always take accountability! As they say some are sicker then others."
