Brandon Blackstock's eldest daughter, Savannah, has spoken publicly for the first time since her father's death, admitting she 'never imagined' losing him. The 23-year-old, who is expecting her third child, took to Instagram to reflect on the loss of the talent manager, who died in August aged 48 after a three-year battle with cancer.
In her emotional post, Savannah wrote: 'Seeing my dad sick and losing him was something I never imagined or could have possibly prepared myself for, let alone young and pregnant.' She also expressed gratitude for the support she and her husband have received, saying they have been 'blessed with the most caring clientele' as she works as a full-time real estate agent.
Brandon Blackstock, best known as Kelly Clarkson's ex-husband, shared Savannah and son Seth with his first wife Melissa Ashworth. He also had two children, River and Remy, with Clarkson. Following his death, a family spokesperson said: 'Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family.'
Kelly Clarkson postponed her Las Vegas residency in August to be with her children, stating: 'I need to be fully present for them.' The couple were married from 2013 to 2020, and Clarkson previously described the divorce as a decision that was 'years in the making.'
