Kelly Clarkson impressed audiences with her performance of Chappell Roan's 'Red Wine Supernova' during the 'Kellyoke' segment of her talk show on Thursday. The 42-year-old singer received widespread praise on social media, with fans calling for her to cover more songs.
One fan wrote on X: 'If I were an artist, my only stipulation would be that Kelly Clarkson is never allowed to cover my songs.' Another added: 'Nobody should allow her to cover their songs cuz she eats them up every time.'
For the performance, Clarkson wore a black tailored suit with a structured blazer and flared pants, paired with a black top featuring a white collar. She styled her hair in her signature straight look with bangs, and opted for a smoky eye and bronzed makeup.
This is not the first time Clarkson's covers have gone viral; her acoustic rendition of Chappell Roan's 'Good Luck, Babe!' with Miranda Lambert and guitarist Jaco Caraco in September also garnered significant attention.
