Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce tied the knot on a bustling 4th of July weekend at Madison Square Garden in New York City, in what has been described as the wedding of the century. The ceremony was attended by 1,000 guests, including Ed Sheeran, Hugh Grant, Jay-Z, Emma Stone, Selena Gomez, and many other A-listers.
The service was officiated by comedy actor Adam Sandler, and Sir Paul McCartney performed The Beatles' classic 'I Want to Hold Your Hand'. The event was shrouded in secrecy, with guests required to sign non-disclosure agreements and surrender their phones upon arrival. Two stagehands were reportedly escorted out for taking pictures.
Despite the restrictions, the Daily Mail obtained images from inside the venue, showing guests gathering at an altar before disappearing through hidden doors. The arena itself was transformed into a 'secret garden', with walls draped in foliage, trees covering the floor, and white fabric over the seats. Framed photos of the couple and their pet dog were displayed, alongside a giant illuminated 'T&T' monogram. Guests also received handkerchiefs embroidered with the date, city, initials, and a line from Swift's song 'Blank Space'.
Director Joseph Kahn, who has worked on Swift's music videos, described the ceremony as 'so much funnier and more emotional than expected', while country singer Maren Morris posted a photo with Kelsea Ballerini, captioning it with the lyric 'Baby, just say yes'.
