Nicole Kidman, 58, has filed for divorce from Keith Urban, 57, after 19 years of marriage, citing irreconcilable differences. The couple had been living apart since June, with Urban reportedly moving on, leaving Kidman 'hurt and betrayed'.
Kidman decamped to London over the summer to film the Practical Magic sequel, renting a mansion in Hampstead for £65,000 a month. Urban was on his High and Alive tour, and the pair barely saw each other. Urban is said to have instigated the split, which blindsided Kidman, and he has already moved into a new home in Nashville.
Kidman will be the primary residential parent for their two daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, spending 306 days a year with them, while Urban will have 59 days. Both waived spousal and child support, retaining their own assets. A 'cocaine clause' in their prenuptial agreement reportedly entitles Urban to $600,000 for each year of marriage if he stayed sober, resulting in an $11 million payout.
Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise from 1990 to 2001, with whom she adopted two children, Bella and Connor. She has not been seen in public with them for 17 years, as they were raised as Scientologists by Cruise.
