Loose Women star Kaye Adams shared an exciting baby update live on-air, announcing that her colleague Oti Mabuse is expecting her second child.
Appearing on This Morning ahead of Thursday's Loose Women, Kaye gave viewers a preview of what to expect on the show. Just before heading back to the studio, she revealed that fellow panellist Oti Mabuse is pregnant with her second child with husband Marius Iepure.
Speaking to This Morning hosts Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, Kaye said: 'Just before I go, I've got to say fantastic news. You might have read that Oti is expecting baby number two, which is absolutely wonderful. She is coming on the show live to tell us all about it. We are really, really thrilled about that.'
Oti shared the joyful announcement on Instagram this morning. The 35-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing professional is married to Romanian dancer Iepure. The couple already has a daughter, born in 2023.
Updating her followers, she posted sweet snaps, including one of the couple in front of a fireplace with a celebratory banner reading 'Baby Number 2' displayed above them. In another photo, their young daughter was pictured reaching up towards her mum's bump in a touching gesture.
Alongside the snaps, she wrote: 'Plot twist... We thought we had our hands full already, but life had even bigger plans. Baby No. 2 is joining the dance party, and our hearts (and house) are about to get a whole lot fuller.'
The comment section quickly filled with sweet messages from fans and celebrity friends. Oti's sister Motsi, a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, was among the first to offer congratulations, commenting: 'We love you, congratulations. The bigger the better.' Fellow Strictly professional Gorka Marquez commented: 'AMAZING NEWS GUYS.'
Former It Takes Two presenter Zoe Ball also sent her well wishes, posting: 'Ahhhh gorgeous news you guys. Big love coming atcha.' Karen Hauer, who recently left Strictly after more than a decade, added her congratulations. Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who competed on Dancing on Ice during Mabuse's time as a judge, called her 'Angel' in her message.
