Loose Women presenter Kaye Adams offered her congratulations to co-star Oti Mabuse after she shared her exciting baby news this week. On Thursday (June 11), Oti and her husband Marius Lepure confirmed they are expecting another baby together, almost three years after welcoming their first child.
To announce the news, professional dancer Oti shared photos of herself and Marius with their two-year-old daughter in front of a fireplace with a banner reading "Baby Number 2". The proud parents were laughing together as their daughter reached up to her mother's bump. In another photo, Oti jokingly cradled her husband's belly. She wrote on Instagram: "Plot twist... We thought we had our hands full already, but life had even bigger plans. Baby No. 2 is joining the dance party, and our hearts (and house) are about to get a whole lot fuller. #babynumber2".
Kaye Adams Celebrates on This Morning
After the news was made public, Kaye Adams briefly appeared on This Morning to chat with hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deeley. Congratulating Oti, Kaye said: "Just before I go, I've got to say fantastic news. You might have read that Oti is expecting (baby) numbers too, which is absolutely wonderful. She is coming on the show live to tell us all about it. We are really, really thrilled about that."
Oti Shares Details on Loose Women
Oti then joined panellists Kaye, Denise Welch, Judi Love and Sunetra Sarker via video call from Italy, where she is currently filming. After confirming she is four months pregnant, Sunetra asked how she is coping with morning sickness. Oti replied: "I've got loads of it! I would get it even at work, I'd have to sometimes just be quiet on the panel just to make sure the nausea goes away. I drank loads of peppermint tea and ginger tea. First trimester was hard, but I survived it!"
Oti shared a sweet detail about her two-year-old daughter: "We usually lift each other, we throw each other in the air, we punch and push and now she knows not to be onto mummy. So she wakes up in the morning, she pats my belly and she goes, 'good morning baby'."
