Kaye Adams Announces Oti Mabuse's Pregnancy Live on Loose Women

Loose Women star Kaye Adams announced co-star Oti Mabuse's pregnancy live on air, just moments after the former Strictly Come Dancing professional shared the news on Instagram.

Exciting News Revealed on This Morning

Kaye appeared on This Morning ahead of Thursday's Loose Women episode, giving viewers a preview of what was to come. Just before returning to the studio, she revealed that fellow panellist Oti Mabuse is expecting her second child with husband Marius Iepure.

Speaking to This Morning presenters Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, Kaye said: "Just before I go, I've got to say fantastic news. You might have read that Oti is expecting (baby) numbers too, which is absolutely wonderful. She is coming on the show live to tell us all about it. We are really, really thrilled about that."

Oti's Instagram Announcement

Oti shared the delightful news about the latest addition to her family on Instagram this morning. The 35-year-old former Strictly Come Dancing professional is married to Romanian dancer Marius Iepure. The pair already share a daughter, who was born in 2023.

In an update to her followers, she shared heartwarming photographs, including one of the couple standing before a fireplace, with a celebratory banner reading "Baby Number 2" hung above them. Another image showed their young daughter reaching up tenderly towards her mother's bump in an adorable moment.

Captioning the images, she wrote: "Plot twist... We thought we had our hands full already, but life had even bigger plans. Baby No. 2 is joining the dance party, and our hearts (and house) are about to get a whole lot fuller."

Outpouring of Congratulations

It wasn't long before the comment section was inundated with heartfelt messages from admirers and famous friends alike.

Oti's sister Motsi, who serves as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing, was amongst the first to extend her congratulations, writing: "We love you, congratulations. The bigger the better."

Fellow Strictly professional Gorka Marquez added: "AMAZING NEWS GUYS."

Former It Takes Two host Zoe Ball also shared her warm wishes, posting: "Ahhhh gorgeous news you guys. Big love coming atcha." Karen Hauer, who recently departed Strictly after more than a decade on the programme, offered her congratulations to the pair.

Meanwhile, Love Island champion Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, who took part in Dancing on Ice while Mabuse was a judge, referred to her as "Angel" in her congratulatory note.

This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX, and Loose Women weekdays from 12:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
