In the caption, Katie wrote: 'Going to watch this @jesynelson_stan,' but the account she tagged is a fan page, not Jesy's 9.7 million follower-strong official profile.
The blunder comes amid a busy period for Katie, who recently tied the knot for the fourth time to Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews, just one week after they met. However, the marriage has already sparked controversy, with Lee reportedly claiming links to Elon Musk and being accused of using AI-generated images to support his claim. Several of his ex-girlfriends have also come forward to warn Katie about him, telling her to 'run for the hills'.
Katie has fiercely defended her new husband on social media, calling those who have spoken out 'bitter' and 'snakes'. In a recent post, she shared a video Lee had posted of her playing with her Pomeranian puppy, Spitz, and captioned it: '@wesleeeandrews has given me more love, more security, more respect. And proven that everything that's been said about him is absolute BS by bitter people and snakes in all areas.'
This comes after Katie's previous rant at her family, whom she accused of being 'disloyal' after they showed support to her ex-boyfriend JJ Slater. The reality star, who appeared on Married At First Sight, had been dating Katie for two years before their split in January. Last week, JJ shared a cryptic post claiming he was 'so back', which was liked by Katie's sister Sophie, prompting Katie's anger.
A source told The Mirror: 'Katie's family are very much 'Team JJ'. Ever since the break-up, they've been in touch with him and supporting him. They think the way he's been treated throughout this has been awful. They are really disappointed. He was so supportive of Katie and one of the nicest guys she'd been out with.' The source added: 'Everything Katie is doing is just putting more of a distance between herself and her family. She won't be happy seeing that her sister has liked her ex's post - no matter how nice he is, he's still an ex. She'll think it's disloyal but underneath, she knows she's treated JJ terribly and that he's a nice guy.'
