Katie Price's husband 'fuming' after Dubai jail shaves head

Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has reportedly returned to Dubai's Al-Awir prison after being arrested in connection with alleged unpaid debts, with one inmate claiming his biggest frustration was having his head shaved once again.

Return to prison and head shaving

According to reports, Andrews was transferred to the prison after initially being held in isolation. An inmate, speaking anonymously, claimed the businessman appeared visibly unhappy when he arrived back on the wing. The source alleged: "Lee arrived on the wing this morning after being held in isolation. We've all heard about his ridiculous wig and how stupid he looks making out that it is his real hair. Now he's shaven headed again and he looked really annoyed about it. He had a face like thunder when he arrived."

Alleged debts and legal cases

The reported return to prison comes after Andrews was arrested over alleged outstanding debts in the UAE. Reports claim one of the cases relates to a rental vehicle, with court documents said to show an outstanding balance of 266,060 dirhams (approximately £54,000). A separate case reportedly relates to an alleged unpaid legal bill of 74,817.50 dirhams (around £15,000), dating back to January last year.

Expectations of release

Despite the latest developments, the prison source claimed Andrews has told fellow inmates he expects to be released soon. The source alleged: "Lee was quick to mouth off about getting released the last time he was in and today has been no different. He said the money to secure his release is sorted and that he's now just waiting for the system over here to process that and let him out." The source added: "Lee's boasts make him unpopular with the other blokes in here because most people are serving lengthy stretches. The only laugh they've got is about his hair because he's such a vain b****** and they know he'll hate having it all cut off again."

Katie Price's activities and other allegations

The reported prison stint comes as Katie has returned to the UK to promote her new Sky documentary, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which follows her personal and professional life. Meanwhile, allegations made against Andrews by one complainant were previously passed from Hertfordshire Police to authorities in Dubai, after it was determined the alleged incidents fell within the UAE's jurisdiction. No charges relating to those allegations have been announced publicly, and Andrews has not publicly responded to the claims. The businessman has remained active on social media in recent weeks, while reports suggest he believes he will be released once the relevant legal processes have been completed.
