Katie Price's Husband Lee Andrews Accused of Scamming Women from Prison

Katie Price's husband, Lee Andrews, has been accused of attempting to scam his wife's fans while incarcerated in Dubai. The 33-year-old was arrested on suspicion of fraud and is being held at Al Awir central prison. Price recently flew to the UAE to secure his release, reportedly costing £140,000.

A man named David told The Sun that he was targeted by Andrews' Facebook account on May 20. After messaging as a joke about investing, he received a response on June 3 from someone claiming to be Andrews' business manager, Robert Davis. The associate sent a WhatsApp message promoting Andrews' dissolved company, Aura, and asked for an investment of £5,000.

David said the associate sent an AI-generated image of 'a little bald man in an office' to prove his identity. When David questioned the legitimacy, he was told to transfer money to a bank account under the name 'Rayan Hashmi' or via Western Union to 'a woman called Ethel who lives in Mississippi'. The associate denied Andrews was in jail, claiming he had a 'misunderstanding' with his wife.

An insider with knowledge of Andrews' past schemes said he worked with an associate to 'legitimise' his actions, taking calls about multi-million-pound deals to appear credible. The source added they would not be 'shocked' if Andrews was using the same man to gather 'investments' from prison.

When contacted by The Sun, the associate identified himself as 'Robert David' and denied Andrews was in jail, insisting 'we don't scam anyone here'. Price has stated Andrews will be released 'within days' and that she has never given him money. She also met with his ex, Dina Taji, who warned her about Andrews allegedly forging her signature.
