Katie Price's Friend Reveals Truth Behind Whirlwind Marriage

A journalist who has known Katie Price for nearly two decades has shared her insights into the star's surprise marriage to Lee Andrews. Clemmie Moodie, who has 'known and liked' Katie for almost 20 years, revealed details of a recent FaceTime conversation they had before Katie tied the knot for the fourth time.

According to Moodie, on January 15, the pair made a 'solemn vow' to avoid relationships for at least six months. However, just nine days later, Katie announced her engagement to businessman Lee Andrews on Instagram, with photos emerging hours later showing the couple seemingly marrying in Dubai.

Moodie dismissed suggestions that the marriage was a publicity stunt, describing it instead as 'all so Katie Price'. She wrote in The Sun: 'This, after all, is a woman who loves love. She cannot help herself. Of all her vices — of which we all have many — being a love addict is surely her most endearing.'

Moodie added that Katie is 'desperate to be loved' and insisted the union was genuine. 'Sure, she doesn't always help herself, and from personal experience the Pricey may not always be right but she IS kind, loyal and, quite simply, desperate to be loved. Aren’t we all, deep down?'

Reports indicate that Katie met Lee 'online' before flying to the UAE to meet him. The couple have already found a new home and are planning their honeymoon. Katie, who has been married three times before, including to Peter Andre, said: 'I'm just so happy with my person that is just as happy as I am. What we have, they haven't even invented the words.'
