Katie Price is reportedly under police investigation over a revenge porn allegation after she allegedly showed a sex tape of her ex-husband Alex Reid to a live studio audience. The incident is said to have occurred during a break from filming Celebrity Big Brother's Bit On The Side on January 9, 2018, at Elstree Studios in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire.
According to The Sun, Price, 39, was 'drunk and giggling' as she played the clip, which reportedly showed Reid, a cage-fighter, in drag performing a lewd act with a sex toy. A witness told the publication that Price asked the group of around 40 people if they wanted to see the footage, but no one responded. 'We all watched it, but we didn’t react. No one was laughing or cheering her on... We didn’t want to encourage her,' the witness said.
Hertfordshire Police confirmed they are investigating an allegation of harassment through the disclosure of a private act. A spokesperson said: 'Officers are investigating an allegation of harassment through the disclosure of a private act, which is reported to have occurred at Elstree Film Studios... between 10.30pm and 11pm on Tuesday, January 9. Enquiries are on-going.'
The news comes a day after Price addressed Parliament about bullying targeting her 15-year-old son Harvey, who is blind and has multiple health conditions. In July 2017, Price told Heat magazine she had 'disgusting' and 'disturbing' footage of Reid but vowed never to make it public, saying it would be 'so embarrassing for him'.
Price and Reid were married from February 2010 to March 2012. Representatives for both parties declined to comment when approached by MailOnline. It remains unclear whether the complaint was made by Reid or a guest at the studio.
