Katie Price has confirmed she will not be moving to Dubai, despite reports that her husband Lee Andrews purchased a £36 million home there with cash. The former glamour model, who married Lee in January after meeting him just two weeks earlier, has been travelling between the UK and Dubai to see him.
In a since-deleted YouTube video, Price insisted she would not leave the UK permanently. 'I don't know why people think I'm moving to Dubai. My family's here. The husband is there, but the husband come here and I can go to Dubai when I can,' she said.
The clarification comes weeks after Price claimed Lee had bought a £36 million home 'in cash' in Dubai, sharing a document as proof. She defended him against allegations of fraud, stating he was no 'con man'.
Price had previously hinted at a more permanent move, discussing the need to 're-evaluate' her life and pets. She mentioned having 17 animals and questioned whether she needed so many, prompting criticism from fans who accused her of neglect and cruelty.
Her family has also expressed concern. In a podcast with her sister Sophie, Price compared her marriage to the TV show Married at First Sight. Sophie appeared uncomfortable, calling her sister a 'k***head' and later saying, 'Oh god' when Price referred to changing 'the other bit' of her wedding, which Sophie interpreted as referring to her husband.
