Katie Price Slams Husband Lee Andrews Over 'Hurting People'

Katie Price has spoken out about the recent spate of headlines about husband Lee Andrews, as she accused the Dubai-based businessman of "hurting other people."

Model Katie, 48, first met Lee, 43, in Dubai back in January, with the pair tying the knot just days later. Since then, self-proclaimed "millionaire" Andrews has become a fixture in the press, with the latest reports claiming that he allegedly tried to sell a sex tape of him and his wife and is in prison in Dubai for the second time in months.

Katie's Response on Her Podcast

Hours after Andrews' family put out a statement on social media branding his behaviour unrecognisable, Katie herself responded on Thursday's episode of her podcast The Katie Price Show. Appearing alongside her sister Sophie, Katie initially discussed the sex tape allegations, reiterating that the footage did not exist and claiming that Andrews had been "joking" in the voice note in which he is said to have spoken about getting a "pretty penny" for the footage.

"There is so much coming out about Lee, and everyone saying, 'Why isn't Kate talking?' Do you know why I'm not talking? Because there is so much, I'm just not commenting anymore," Katie said. "I commented when he went missing but he's in prison and I will be questioning him about a lot of things when he's out. I'm just getting on doing what I'm doing, because it's ridiculous."

"I hope so," Sophie said, with Katie saying: "I agree. There is so much and there is no smoke without fire. It's ridiculous now." Sophie said that it was "f***ing out of order" for Andrews to make those comments no matter what, and branded him a "d***head."

Katie's Displeasure with Andrews' Actions

Katie agreed again, saying that while Andrews had never done anything negative towards her, "all this stuff coming out, I don't like what he's done to anyone else. That is not acceptable, so I will be finding out what's true, what's not and just face it."

Katie then said that she was going to get the podcast's producer to "interview" Andrews, adding: "[He] is going to delve in deep and I want to hear everything because there's too much and I don't like people hurting people. That is all I'm saying on it, I've not put anything up online, so you've heard it here for the first time. There's just so much. It's so overwhelming and it's just become one whole noise… I just don't know what's going through his head and what's going on."

Katie said that Andrews was still in prison, with reports last week that he was arrested for a second time over alleged unpaid debts and was back in Al Awir prison just months after being freed. Katie said that she'd speak to Andrews about everything when he was freed, adding: "It's my relationship, and it's got to a point where it's a joke."
