Katie Price has launched a scathing attack on Dwight Yorke, the father of her son Harvey, in a Father's Day Instagram post. The 48-year-old former glamour model accused the ex-footballer of being a 's**t dad' for allegedly disowning their 24-year-old son, who has multiple disabilities.
Price Celebrates Other Men in Her Life
In a series of Instagram Stories, Price celebrated several men in her life, including her newlywed husband Lee Andrews. However, the post for Yorke took a bitter turn. Alongside a photo of Yorke holding Harvey as a baby in the bath, Price wrote: 'You should be ashamed of yourself disowning your son.' She added: 'He lights up everyone who meets him, which is a credit to me. If only you treated him the same as your other son, says a lot about what a s*** dad you are… period.'
Harvey's Condition and Yorke's Involvement
Harvey was born shortly after Price split from Yorke, who initially denied paternity, forcing Price to undergo DNA tests. Price has long claimed that Yorke has only met Harvey a handful of times. Harvey lives with Prader-Willi Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that causes chronic hunger and obesity, as well as blindness due to Septo-optic dysplasia, autism, an underactive thyroid, and diabetes. In her 2016 book Reborn, Price alleged that Yorke refused to understand Harvey's condition, saying: 'I'd explained Harvey's condition to Dwight many times, but he refused to understand it and kept going on about him being fat.'
Yorke's Other Son
Yorke has another teenage son, Orlando, who has never met Harvey. Price has speculated that the 18-year-old does not know he has a half-brother. Metro has contacted Dwight Yorke's representatives for comment on this story.
