Katie Price Slammed by PR Firm for Skipping Film Premiere

Katie Price has been slammed by her PR company, Independent Creative Management, after failing to show up for her own movie premiere. The company announced it would no longer represent her, citing her decision to remain in Dubai rather than honour her commitment to attend the premiere of Jackie the Stripper in London.

Details of the Cancellation

The premiere was scheduled for Thursday, July 2, 2026. According to the PR firm, Price had confirmed her attendance through her management team SANDS as early as May. Further confirmation was received on Sunday, June 28, with Price reportedly happy with the proposed press line-up. However, on the evening of June 30, SANDS informed the company that Price would no longer attend and would instead stay in Dubai. No reason was provided for the withdrawal.

In a statement, Independent Creative Management expressed disappointment, noting that Price had even direct-messaged the director requesting a ticket for the event on May 6, 2026.

Recent Controversies

Price, 48, has faced public scrutiny in recent weeks due to her husband Lee Andrews' one-month prison stint in Dubai. Andrews claimed he was imprisoned on espionage charges, while Dubai authorities said it was related to fraud allegations. Since his release from Al Awir prison last month, the couple has been seen together frequently, including horseback riding and publicly displaying affection, despite backlash from family, friends, and fans.

In a recent interview, Price also sparked controversy by stating she would strip for the England football team if they won their next World Cup game.

PR Firm's Statement

The full statement from Independent Creative Management read: "It is disappointing that Katie has cancelled her appearance at such short notice, particularly after her attendance had been confirmed on multiple occasions and publicly. She even DM'd the director asking for her ticket for attendance on 6th May 2026." The company confirmed it would no longer represent Price.

The Daily Star has contacted Katie's representatives for comment.
