Katie Price Shows Lip Surgery at Doc Premiere

Katie Price has revealed the results of her painful lip corrective surgery at the London premiere of her Sky Original documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide. The 48-year-old former glamour model underwent the procedure in Brussels days earlier, remaining completely awake throughout.

Awake Surgery in Brussels

During an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, Price told her sister Sophie that she would not be asleep for the operation. "I'm doing it awake, not on anaesthetic... going to Brussels because it needs doing," she said. The surgery aimed to remove scar tissue caused by migrated lip filler.

Days after sharing images of a bruised and swollen pout, Price stepped out at the premiere in London. Her lips appeared less swollen, with a visible scar just below her nose. She wore a figure-hugging, backless black dress and black platformed heels, with her hair styled in loose waves.

Plans for Nose Job

Price also hinted at further surgery, commenting on her nose. "Oh my God, my nose still looks wonky, but I'm going to have a nose job," she said. In a clip, she mocked her lips "quacking" to the camera while her daughter Princess, 18, watched and said: "Her lips, don't approve."

Despite swelling and bruising, Price remained upbeat. "It is what it is, trust the process. I'm still going to eat a burger, though. Have put some makeup on it to cover the bruises up. But quack, quack," she said. Later, she told fans: "My lip has settled more today. Still bruised. But it's going down each day."

Documentary Details

The documentary, produced by the team behind Louis Theroux: Inside the Manosphere, features "extraordinary unseen footage" and "first-time testimony" to deliver a revealing portrait of Price. It includes interviews with her ex-husband Alex Reid, former boyfriend Dane Bowers, and Pop Idol star Gareth Gates.

Gates, who had a brief fling with Price when he was 17, appears stern-faced in the trailer as Price says: "I know I've hurt people deeply." Gates previously said: "I was shocked, and at the time, I actually didn't believe it was from her. I thought the press had made it up. But then it turned out it actually was her who sold the story – that was a lot for a kid who wasn't even an adult to take."
