Katie Price has been left "absolutely shaken" by her husband Lee Andrews' claims about her children, according to a source close to the former glamour model. The controversy erupted after Lee told a fan in a Cameo video that he had "adopted" Katie's five children, saying: "I haven't got children, but we're trying. I've adopted five of them. I love my wife and I love her children."
Peter Andre's Denial
Peter Andre, who shares daughter Princess, 18, and son Junior, 20, with Katie, has strongly denied the claims. A representative for Peter told the Metro that the remarks are "categorically untrue" and "yet another lie" from the 'businessman'. The spokesperson added that Princess and Junior have never met Lee, as he is currently in Dubai and has not travelled to the UK since marrying Katie, despite reports of a travel ban.
Previous Claims Contradicted
Lee has previously claimed he met Katie's eldest children, including Harvey, 23, and two others thought to be Princess and Junior. In a voice note message to The Sun, he said: "People don't know I've met Harvey and two of the kids, I haven't seen the young ones. I've been back and forth, I just don't f***ing tell anyone. I lead a very private life." However, a representative for Katie denied that Lee had met her children in person, and a source close to Junior and Princess confirmed they have never met him.
Katie's Reaction
A source told Closer magazine that Katie is "genuinely shaken" by the inconsistencies in Lee's statements. "Katie has been left genuinely shaken after realising some of the things Lee has been saying don't quite add up, especially around the claims about meeting the kids," the source said. "It's made her stop and reassess everything, and for the first time she's starting to see through what she now feels has been a lot of smoke and mirrors." The source added that Katie feels vulnerable and has pulled back from almost everyone, as her confidence has been knocked.
Princess's Earlier Comments
Earlier this year, Princess Andre said her mother was 'crazy' for marrying Lee after knowing him for only a few weeks, and confirmed she had never seen him in person. "She's crazy. But it's my mum... I mean, if she's happy, I'm happy. No, I haven't met Lee, and, yes, I've seen Mum since she got married," she explained.
