Katie Price Risks Reigniting Feud with Peter Andre in New Doc

Katie Price is risking a renewed feud with her ex-husband Peter Andre following the release of her explosive new documentary series, Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, on Sky. The couple, who called a truce earlier this year after nearly two decades of conflict, now face potential setbacks as the show airs damning comments from Price and her family about Andre, along with clips of verbal abuse from their past reality series.

Documentary Highlights Volatile Marriage

In the four-part series, Price, 48, reflects on her marriage to Andre, 53, calling it the best time of her life “until things went sour.” The show includes footage from their earlier reality show, Katie & Peter: The Next Chapter, where Andre is seen berating Price. In one scene, he calls her an “arrogant b***h” and a “f***ing idiot,” saying, “I hope you learn a lesson and come down a peg or two because you’re too far up your own a***.”

Price’s family also weighs in. Her sister Sophie describes the relationship as “nuts how toxic it got,” while their mother Amy claims Andre “didn’t like her drinking” or “the way she dressed.” Brother Dan adds that Price “couldn’t have a drink at home” because Andre disapproved. Price herself says, “It got to the point if I wanted to go out it was a big issue.”

Fears Over Truce Stability

A source close to Price told new that her inner circle fears the documentary could destabilize the hard-won truce with Andre, who is father to two of her children, Junior, 21, and Princess, 19. “Katie’s friends are worried she’s upset Pete again, because she’s opened a can of worms here,” the source said. “They are concerned she’s reignited their feud with what she’s saying against him and by trying to blame him and not take responsibility. This is just opening old wounds.”

In episode three, viewers see the couple—who met on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004—arguing in a Los Angeles shop. Amy recalls Andre saying, “They were in a shop and Kate struck up a conversation with the guy that worked there. Pete was sort of saying, you know, he doesn’t know who you are, you stupid cow.” When Price retorts, calling Andre an “old f***ing singer no one knows about,” he responds, “Oh my God, you’ve got a real attitude problem,” before calling her a “stupid, arrogant, miserable cow.”

Previous Truce and Current Concerns

Earlier this year, Price and Andre surprised fans with a joint statement pledging to “move forward into a new chapter with positivity and respect” for their children. In April, Andre told new, “It’s actually great. The kids are grown up [and] it’s nice that everyone moves forward. It’s just all positive and it’s lovely. That’s how life should be.” He added, “There are enough problems in the world, you know? So it’s really nice that things are moving forward in such a positive direction and great for the family. Everyone’s happy and that’s all we could ask for.”

However, the documentary risks reversing that progress. “Everyone is concerned, but Katie has brought this on herself and made this public,” the source said. “Pete and Katie agreed to a truce, because everything’s affected the kids badly, which they’ve spoken about in the doc. Everyone wants Kate and Pete to get on for the kids’ sake.”

Marriage and Aftermath

The couple married in 2005 at Highclere Castle, famously used for Downton Abbey, when Andre was 32 and Price was 27. Their relationship broke down after Price—who married fourth husband Lee Andrews in January—was accused of infidelity. Reflecting on the collapse, Price says, “For people looking in, we were the perfect couple, but there were things that weren’t right. It’s all about communication and we didn’t communicate, but we could have worked through it. We could have done, looking back. Can’t turn the clock back now, it’s weird.”

In a statement at the end of episode three, Andre says, “I have chosen not to speak publicly about these matters out of love and respect for Junior and Princess. Today, Katie and I maintain an amicable relationship in the interests of our children. I sincerely wish her happiness and peace for the future.”
