Katie Price landed at Gatwick Airport on Friday morning without her wedding ring, despite having worn it throughout her trip to Dubai. The 47-year-old star had travelled to Dubai on Monday in an attempt to help her husband Lee, who she claims is imprisoned in Al Awir prison. She told fans on social media that she hoped to secure his release by paying off two cases.
A source told the Mirror that Price is not done with the relationship and cannot let him go, despite removing her ring for the flight. The source said: “She’s only taken her ring off to fly back to create a story. She’s not wearing the ring but she’s not left him. She knows she has to be seen to be doing the right thing. But she hasn’t left him, she’s very much into this marriage.”
While in Dubai, Price visited the prison several times and also shared content of herself enjoying room service, lounging by the pool, eating cake, getting a Thai massage, and ordering champagne. She was accompanied by content creator Ben Algar and recorded material for her podcast, including a now-deleted episode with Lee’s ex-wife Dina.
In the podcast clip, Dina, a 41-year-old Palestinian fitness coach who runs a cat sanctuary, discussed her past relationship with Lee. Price told Dina: “I came to Dina about one of the cases because I thought, is Dina involved? And then obviously we had a cup of tea, as girls do, we've had a long chat, and that's for us to know, and for you to find out in the future.”
The source added that Price monetises everything she does, saying: “Anything Katie does is monetised, that is her life. She’ll do a big interview, write a book. She'll cash in on it, that's how she works. It's a media circus that she financially benefits from.”
