Katie Price refused to discuss her husband Lee Andrews during a recent episode of her podcast, despite previously being open about the drama surrounding his disappearance in May. The former glamour model had kept fans updated after claiming Lee was found in a Dubai prison on suspicion of espionage, but in the episode released on 11 June, she and her sister Sophie decided to skip the topic, planning a special Lee-focused episode later.
Katie and Sophie's Podcast Exchange
Katie said: 'We're skipping the Lee stuff - it's got so out of hand and I just need some quiet from it.' Sophie agreed but had critical words for her sister, implying she would feel embarrassed later. Sophie added: 'I think you'll look back in a few years and think 'Actually, I was a bit of a kn*b back then and this whole situation was nuts.''
Katie responded: 'It is a bit nuts, but as I've said, there's so much stuff that I can't even keep on top of everything myself. I'm in good spirits.' She also stated that after the special episode on Lee, she would stop talking about it completely.
Lee's Imprisonment and Financial Demands
The podcast episode follows Katie's refusal to pay the £140,000 reportedly needed to secure Lee's release from prison. While Lee claims to be a millionaire, he asked Katie to launch a GoFundMe for his release, which she declined, telling him 'everyone hates you'.
Meanwhile, Katie has been enjoying her downtime in Brighton, wearing a cropped black T-shirt and white mesh trousers as she went about her day. She was also seen wearing a microphone, suggesting the outing is being recorded for her upcoming documentary or YouTube channel.
