Katie Price has refused to discuss her husband Lee Andrews in the latest episode of her podcast, admitting she is 'done with it' and wants 'quiet' from the ongoing drama.
Lee Andrews Currently Held in Dubai Prison
Lee is currently being held in custody at Al Awir prison in Dubai following claims that he had been 'kidnapped'. Katie flew to Dubai last week to assist with his legal battles but returned to the UK without him. Although she has stated Lee will be released 'soon', reports indicate a £140,000 release fee is required.
Podcast Episode Takes Unexpected Turn
Many fans expected Katie to share details of her Dubai trip on her podcast after last week's episode was cancelled. However, speaking with her sister Sophie on The Katie Price Show, Katie said they would not discuss the headlines, adding: 'I'm done with it. The Lee stuff now has got so out of hand and I just need to be quiet from it.'
Sophie agreed with the decision but described the situation as 'nuts', noting: 'I think you will look back in a few years and go, actually, I was maybe a bit of a knob back then and this whole situation was just nuts.'
Katie Plans to Keep Relationship Private
Katie added: 'It has been nuts, but like I say there is so much stuff, I can't even keep on top of everything myself. However, I'm in good spirits. I've got a lot of good stuff coming up so the Lee and me situation I'm just going to keep to ourselves. It just needs to be like that.'
Despite this, the sisters announced a bonus episode will be released to fill everyone in on the 'Lee stuff'. Katie filmed the episode with videographer Ben, likely during her Dubai trip.
Meeting with Lee's Ex
During her time in the UAE, Katie met with Lee's ex-partner Dina Taji, who is reportedly set to appear on the podcast. In a now-deleted social media clip, Katie said: 'Women stick together and I came to Dina about one of the cases because I thought, Is Dina involved? Then we had a cup of tea, as girls do… we've had a long chat, and that's for us to know, and for you to find out in the future.'
Dina, who was with Lee for three years, commented: 'To be honest, I really didn't care about responding to reporters and everyone that was messaging me, just out of respect.'
Sophie's Dislike for Lee
The bonus episode is unlikely to feature Sophie, who has shown her dislike for Lee previously. After it was announced Lee was in jail rather than kidnapped, Sophie gave an emotional response. When Katie suggested Lee appear on the podcast, Sophie snapped: 'No, no, no! If you want to do a separate chat with him, that's down to you.'
Sources claim many of Katie's family and friends have urged her to leave Lee, fearing he will 'destroy her and finish her career'.
