Katie Price has admitted her marriage to Lee Andrews is “f**ked up” after he made a series of bizarre claims about her children. The self-proclaimed businessman, whom Price married in January just days after meeting him, said he has adopted her kids and claimed they are trying to have a baby together. This sparked the ire of Price’s ex-husband Peter Andre, who called out his “categorically untrue” adoption claim and said it was “yet another lie”.
Price Defends Andrews
Price has now defended Andrews, with whom she reunited in Dubai on Tuesday after he was released from prison on reported fraud charges. The former glamour model, 48, shared a video of them dancing in the car and said that while their relationship is “f**ked up”, he is her “perfect match”. Sharing a photo of them holding hands on her Instagram Story, she posted: “Forever @wesleeeandrews best husband in the world completes me in every f***ed up way.” Price added: “Met my perfect match! And nothing will defy us!”
Adoption Claims Spark Controversy
Her trip comes after Andrews, 43, claimed he has adopted Price’s five children. In a Cameo video to a fan for Father’s Day last week, he said: “I haven’t got children, but we’re trying. I’ve adopted five of them. I love my wife and I love her children.” Andre was quick to hit out at Andrews' claims, saying Andrews has “never met” the kids. Andrews doubled down on the adoption claims in another Cameo video message to a separate fan. “Obviously, five beautiful children that I get to call my own now. Handful,” he said in the clip obtained by The Sun.
Children's Reaction
Price - who previously revealed she wants to have Andrews’ baby - has not yet commented on her husband’s claims about adopting her children. In February, Junior and Princess broke their silence on Price’s whirlwind marriage to Andrews. “I’ve not met him,” Princess said during their joint This Morning appearance. Junior added: “Our mum is her own person, she’s her own woman. She’s going to do what she’s going to do and at the end of the day, we’re supportive of her as long as she’s happy.”
Andrews' Legal Troubles
Andrews has sparked repeated allegations that he is a conman, with three of his exes speaking out against him. He has denied the claims. He was released from prison in Dubai earlier this month after being arrested on reported fraud charges. He was detained for a “private civil matter” last month but insisted to Price that he was kidnapped on suspicion of espionage. Andrews had been set to fly to the UK to do a joint interview with Price on Good Morning Britain but failed to show up and could not be contacted.
The TV star and Andrews’ family launched an international appeal to find him after he went missing for two weeks, with Price later revealing he was “alive and well” at Dubai’s Al Awir Central Prison. After he was located behind bars, Price said Andrews had been shocked to discover he had become “the most hated man in prison” as his disappearance sparked widespread speculation online. He finally told Price he has a travel ban in UAE after months of denying the claims.
The reality star said she “really believed” Andrews was trying to fly to the UK, before insisting she is not “stupid” and is fully aware of the conman allegations. Price added that she doesn’t feel she’ll be scammed by him as she is “protected by the nation” and said she is ready to be “done” with him for good if she doesn't get the answers she wants.
