Reality TV star Katie Price has made a surprising confession about her ex-husband Peter Andre, admitting she'll "always love him" despite their tumultuous past. The 45-year-old glamour model, who divorced Andre in 2009 after four years of marriage, revealed her lingering feelings during a candid interview.
A Complicated Love Story
The former couple, who met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, became one of Britain's most talked-about celebrity pairs. Their whirlwind romance and subsequent marriage played out in the public eye through their reality show Katie & Peter.
"We had some amazing times together," Price reminisced. "He gave me two beautiful children, and that bond never really goes away." The pair share son Junior, 18, and daughter Princess, 16.
From Fairytale to Breakdown
Their relationship ultimately ended in a highly publicised divorce, with Price later admitting to infidelity. The split was messy, with both parties trading barbs in the media for years afterwards.
"Of course there were bad times too," Price acknowledged. "We were young, under constant scrutiny, and made mistakes. But I don't regret our time together."
Moving Forward With Perspective
Now older and wiser, Price says she's gained new perspective on their relationship. "When you've been through what we have, you realise life's too short for bitterness," she explained.
Andre, now 51, has moved on with wife Emily MacDonagh, with whom he shares three children. Price has had several high-profile relationships since their split, including marriages to Alex Reid and Kieran Hayler.
Despite their separate lives, Price maintains there will always be a special connection. "Some loves change you forever," she reflected. "Peter was one of those for me."
