Katie Price has revealed that Dane Bowers, not Peter Andre or her current husband Lee Andrews, is the 'love of her life'. In the upcoming Sky documentary series 'Katie Price: Nothing to Hide', the 46-year-old model reflects on her relationship with the former Another Level singer, whom she dated from 1998 to 2000.
Speaking in the four-part series, Price says: 'Dane Bowers! I used to love his songs. Why am I smiling? He was the love of my life.' She recalls meeting Bowers at a film premiere, describing their initial attraction: 'We just locked eyes... I started talking to him and thought 'I fancy you'.'
However, the relationship ended when Bowers gave Price an ultimatum over a raunchy calendar shoot. 'I gave her an ultimatum. 'If you do that, I promise you it's over',' Bowers admits. Price went ahead with the shoot, and Bowers ended the relationship, leaving her devastated. She reveals she took an overdose after the split, saying: 'I think it was attention. Did I really want to kill myself? No I just wanted him to want me.'
Price also claims she got together with footballer Dwight Yorke to get revenge on Bowers, stating: 'With Dwight, no it wasn't love at all. It was f**king massive revenge on Dane.' The documentary, 'Katie Price: Nothing to Hide', launches on Sky on 8 July.
