Katie Price has spoken out against claims that her husband Lee Andrews attempted to sell a sex tape of the couple for £250,000, describing the allegations as 'completely untrue' and leaving her feeling 'upset and humiliated'. The former glamour model, who married Dubai-based businessman Lee Andrews earlier this year, insists no such tape exists.
Allegations of a voice note
Reports emerged that Andrews had sent a voice note to a friend discussing the sale of a tape, allegedly before his second arrest for fraud. In the purported recording, he is said to have mentioned a £250,000 fee. However, after being told that selling such a tape without Price's consent would be illegal, he reportedly claimed it was a joke.
Price released a statement in response, saying: 'This story is completely untrue. I have never made such a tape, and any suggestion otherwise is false and deeply misleading.' She added: 'The claims appear to be based on a voice note sent from Lee discussing a tape... a tape which does not exist and never will. This material has been passed on by a third party and does not reflect reality. I feel incredibly upset, abused and humiliated that such serious and false allegations have been shared publicly without any factual basis.'
Reflections on motherhood
In a recent documentary, Price admitted she has not always been the best mother to her children, Princess and Junior. She said: 'Junior and Princess haven't watched the documentary yet. But I'll let them. They know bits. Junior did say, "Mum, there's nothing in there that's gonna embarrass me, is there?" So I'm like: "Of course there won't be!" Hopefully, they will be entertained. And they will think: "You haven't changed, you are still the same and have the same attitude." I think things will make sense to them.'
She added: 'They know I had a breakdown, but it might explain why I might not have always been the mum they wanted. I have hurt people in the past. Not on purpose, but I apologise for that. They might also learn why I have this issue with men.'
