Katie Price has candidly confessed to hating her own reflection as she reveals the reason behind her long list of surgeries. The former glamour model, 48, has undergone over 40 cosmetic procedures, including 17 breast surgeries.
Price Opens Up About Body Image Struggles
Now, the mother of five has revealed she does not like the way she looks and is more than happy to try to fix it through surgical enhancements. Katie said: "I hate what I see. Absolutely hate it."
She revealed that while she feels she can "scrub up" sometimes, she does not always like what she sees. "Me and my body is a different story," she confessed.
Speaking to The Sun's Fabulous, she continued: "That [my body] is always changing. If I see something I don't like, I'll change it. That's just the way it is." Despite her thoughts on her appearance, Katie confirmed she would not change who she is. She also admitted she loves being in the public eye despite the attention on her personal life.
Marriage Under Scrutiny Amid Arrest
Currently, her marriage to Lee Andrews is under intense scrutiny. After their whirlwind marriage in January, just weeks after meeting in person, the pair have had a turbulent ride. Lee was supposed to visit the UK with his wife recently to appear on Good Morning Britain but was a no-show. He then disappeared and was not contactable, leaving Katie fearing the worst.
It turned out he had been arrested and was incarcerated in the notorious Al Awir jail. He was being held over unpaid debts but has since been released. However, people have questioned whether he used the time away to get a hair transplant—something both he and Katie deny.
Instead, he joked he is "still going bald" because of food in jail. He said in a recent Instagram Stories post: "God, I look like Stig of the dump with this hair. Or something out of Oasis. I'm still going bald. What the f***? Ah, prison food."
Price Denies Hair Transplant Rumors
It comes after Katie tried to explain his rapidly changing look on her podcast with her sister. She tried to distance the suggestions he had traveled to Turkey to have any work done. Speaking to Sophie on the latest episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, she said: "He didn't go to Turkey. He was missing, then was in prison. I'm sure one day he'll talk about it. You can't have a hair transplant in prison."
A skeptical-looking Sophie doubled down and asked if he had received a transplant. But Katie again denied it, adding: "No, but he does want a hair transplant and he will get a hair transplant. That is that, there's not really anything to say."
Trying to defend her man and his future plans, Katie questioned why the idea of a man having any sort of work done on his hair causes such a stir. She asked her sibling: "Why is it when men, in general, have surgery, hair transplants, no one says anything but when us women do, it's this, it's that. Who cares if you're bettering yourself?"
She added: "When I go to Turkey, the amount of men who have hair transplants on the plane coming back. So what if people wanna look better for themselves? I'm all for it, same as I am for women. I have hair extensions, what's wrong with that? Most girls have hair extensions, no one goes about it. So, there you go."
