Katie Price has unveiled a large portrait tattoo of her eldest son Harvey, inked on her leg by Jay Hutton, a star of the E4 series Tattoo Fixers. The 48-year-old former glamour model shared the new body art on Instagram via Hutton's account on Wednesday night.
Tattoo Details and Fan Reactions
Hutton posted three images: one of himself with Katie, one of the tattoo, and one of Katie lying face down during the session. He captioned the post: "Today I tattooed this portrait of Harvey on @katieprice. Harvey came with Kate and had us laughing all day. What a lad!"
Fans reacted positively, with comments including "Lush tattoo!" and "Such a true likeness." Another wrote: "Omg that amazing I love it great ink work as always." Katie already has around 40 tattoos.
Harvey's Health and Living Situation
Harvey, 24, is Katie's son with ex-partner Dwight Yorke. Born in 2002, he was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder shortly after birth, causing weak muscles and slow development. He is also partially blind and has ADHD and autism. He previously attended a residential college in Cheltenham in 2021 and later moved to a supported living facility in Southampton. However, on a recent episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, Katie revealed Harvey is now living with her again.
She explained: "I think people are noticing I’ve got Harvey here more than I normally do. Normally, he’s in Cheltenham. We’re still waiting for his next placement - now they’re saying next month - because that’s up the road from me. But where he is in Southampton, he just doesn’t like being there." She added: "When he comes here, you’ve got the TV on, there’s people coming here, people he knows, family, a normal environment. He just walks around. He doesn’t like the doors there…"
Katie's Role as Carer
Katie continued: "It’s so hard, even the transition to the other places. When he’s there, he texts me, ‘I hate it here, Mum. I just need you. I want your cuddles, hold my hand’. It pulls on your heart. So I’ve got him here and it’s hard because I’m working, I’m his carer at the same time. I’m doing it all - which I love doing. But it is tiring."
