Katie Price has had a huge portrait of her eldest son Harvey tattooed on her leg. The 48-year-old former glamour model has around 40 tattoos, and this latest piece is a permanent tribute to her 24-year-old son.
The tattoo was inked by Jay Hutton, best known for appearing on the E4 series Tattoo Fixers. He shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday night, writing: “Today I tattooed this portrait of Harvey on @katieprice. Harvey came with Kate and had us laughing all day. What a lad!” Fans praised the likeness, with one calling it “amazing” and another saying “such a true likeness”.
Harvey is Price’s son from her relationship with Dwight Yorke, born in 2002. He was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder shortly after birth, which causes weak muscles and slow development. He is also partially blind and has ADHD and autism.
Harvey previously lived in a residential college in Cheltenham and later a supported living facility in Southampton. However, on a recent episode of The Katie Price Show podcast, Price revealed he is now back living with her. She explained: “I think people are noticing I’ve got Harvey here more than I normally do. Normally, he’s in Cheltenham. We’re still waiting for his next placement… but where he is in Southampton, he just doesn’t like being there.” She added that when he is with her, he enjoys a “normal environment” and texts her saying “I hate it here, Mum. I just need you.”
