Katie Price Reveals Ex Dane Bowers' Brutal Swipe at Her Marriage to Lee Andrews
Katie Price Ex Dane Bowers Swipes at Her Marriage to Lee Andrews

Katie Price has revealed a blunt message from her ex-boyfriend Dane Bowers, who questioned her marriage to Lee Andrews. The message came after news broke that Price married Andrews just 10 days after meeting him.

Dane Bowers' Message About Lee Andrews

During a Q&A at a screening of her documentary Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, Price disclosed that Bowers contacted her "out of the blue" and asked: "Please tell me this nonsense with Lee is a load of rubbish?" The audience laughed, and Price reportedly smiled at the comment.

Price and Bowers were together from 1998 to 2000. Despite the short relationship, Price described Bowers as the "love of her life" in the docuseries. The 47-year-old said: "Dane Bowers! I used to adore his songs. Why am I grinning? He was the love of my life. Did you tell him that? Why did he muck it up? He’ll probably point the finger at me."

Details of Their Relationship

Price recalled their first meeting at a film premiere, saying they "just locked eyes." She added: "From the outset, everything went smoothly. I remember adoring his music." She also shared intimate details: "We always used to play Boyz II Men and make love. He was quite cocky but very attentive to me. I just recall when we kissed, it was amazing. I loved Dane. Yes, I did."

After their breakup in 2000, Price overdosed in an attempt to get Bowers' attention, but he did not reach out. They only saw each other sporadically at events afterward.

Gareth Gates Also Featured

The documentary also includes Katie's ex-fling Gareth Gates, who lost his virginity to Price in 2002 when he was 17 and she was 23 and pregnant with her first child, Harvey. Gates initially denied the relationship, leading to a long-running feud. He later said he was "shocked" when details became public: "I haven't ever spoken about relationships. I believe that relationships are between two people and I couldn't believe that somebody else was selling stories about very, very intimate details."

Price commented on Gates' involvement: "Imagine meeting someone 25 years ago and then they sort of ghost you. You don’t know why and then you go forward 25 years and then you get the answers." She added: "Because he had thought I’d done something which I didn’t do and now, he finds out, it really wasn’t me. The shock on his face and the shock on mine – everyone was like, ‘you and Gareth, that was the one that got away!’"
