Katie Price has purchased a new pomsky puppy in Dubai with her husband Lee Andrews, paying approximately £2,000 for the dog. The couple signed a contract at World of Pets, with Price calling the dog their 'baby boy'. The purchase comes despite Price previously stating she needed to 're-evaluate' her pet ownership after having 12 animals.
Price shared a video of the transaction on social media, showing her signing the document before rushing off, leaving Andrews to complete the signature. The dog, a cross between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian, is now part of Price's growing collection of pets.
Fans have expressed concern about the welfare of the new pet, particularly given Dubai's hot climate. One commented: 'Husky in Dubai? Poor thing has two coats.' Another wrote: 'A husky in Dubai must be absolute torture for the poor pup!' Others questioned where the dog would live, with one noting: 'Where is home? Not a hotel?'
Price has a history of pet deaths and controversies. In 2023, her German Shepherd Blade was killed by a car, and her Pomeranian Sharon died on the same road. The RSPCA visited her home that year after the seventh pet died in her care. Price claimed Blade was deliberately targeted.
Earlier this year, Price admitted she needed to 're-evaluate' her life regarding her animals, saying: 'Do I need so many animals? You know you gotta be there, all the time for them.' She also revealed days ago that two of her Sphynx cats, Eileen and Doris, had been stolen from her home while she was in Dubai.
