Katie Price has launched a scathing attack on her second husband, Alex Reid, branding him a 'nobody' and making a crude remark about their relationship. Speaking on the Not My Bagg podcast, the former glamour model described herself as the 'breadwinner' and accused Reid of doing nothing but 'ponce around' her.

When host Joe Baggs mentioned that Reid was the first celebrity he had ever met, Price responded sharply: 'But is he? What because he k****ed me? Like what makes him a celebrity? When they associated with me, they were nothing and I mean nothing.' She added: 'Just because they've been with me, suddenly they think they are a celebrity. They ponce around me, use me. I'm the breadwinner and it becomes boring.'
Price and Reid married in February 2010 after meeting at Michelle Heaton's 30th birthday party in 2009. They split less than a year later, with their divorce finalized in 2012. Prior to his relationship with Price, Reid was an MMA star.
Alex Reid's Response and Upcoming Show
In a previous interview with the Mirror, Reid admitted he felt 'intoxicated with the celebrity and the whole situation' during his time with Price. He said: 'The thing is, I was not used to being in the media. I was a lamb to the slaughter. I was a champion mixed martial arts cage fighter, I was a baby when it comes to media.'
Reid is now preparing his own theatre show, Alex Reid Speaks Out, where he promises to reveal 'his story, his truth,' including his time with Price, his stint on Celebrity Big Brother, and his fatherhood journey. He wrote: 'For one night only, I’m doing my most honest live event yet. We’ll talk about everything. No script. No filters. No subjects off limits.'
Price's Documentary and Past Relationships
Price's comments came during a promotional tour for her documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide, which also features Reid. In the documentary, Reid told cameras: 'She emasculates me.' The documentary also includes interviews with other former partners, including Gareth Gates.
Price has been married four times. She first married Peter Andre in 2005, divorcing in 2009. After Reid, she married Kieran Hayler in 2013, divorcing in 2021. In 2026, she married Lee Andrews just days after meeting him, mirroring the whirlwind romance she had with Reid.
