Princess Andre has spoken publicly for the first time about her mother Katie Price's surprise marriage to Lee Andrews, describing her as 'crazy' but expressing support. The 18-year-old told The Sun's Fabulous Magazine: 'She's crazy. But it's my mum... I mean, if she's happy, I'm happy.' Princess confirmed she has not yet met Lee, who Katie married in January just days after meeting him on social media.
The comments come after Katie's ex-husband Alex Reid claimed that Princess and her brother Junior were 'surprised' by their mother's whirlwind romance. Reid's manager, Lee Stafford, revealed he had spoken to Peter Andre, who said he does not discuss Katie's marriage with their children. 'What do you say to your kids when it's someone that nobody knows?' Stafford quoted Peter as saying.
Princess also addressed the fallout from her ITV show The Princess Diaries, which aired in 2025 and featured her father but not her mother. She admitted feeling guilty that excluding Katie 'caused so much family drama' and 'really upset' her. 'I genuinely felt bad,' she said, adding that it 'ruined' the show's launch for her. A second series is planned, but neither parent will appear due to 'the backlash' from the first series, a decision Princess described as a 'mutual agreement'.
Despite Princess's supportive words, sources claim Katie's marriage is widening the rift with her family. A source told The Mirror that Katie's family are 'very much Team JJ'—referring to her ex JJ Slater—and have been supporting him since the split. The source added that Katie's sister Sophie reportedly liked a post by JJ, which Katie may view as disloyal, though 'she knows she's treated JJ terribly'.
