Katie Price turned up bloodied and bruised to the set of The Princess Diaries, the ITV2 reality show starring her daughter Princess, 18, leaving cast and crew 'shocked' by her appearance. The 48-year-old former glamour model, who also has son Junior, 21, with ex-husband Peter Andre, had recently undergone corrective lip surgery in Brussels to remove scar tissue caused by migrated lip filler.
Shock on Set
Price did not appear on camera during the first season but has a starring role in the upcoming episodes. Her arrival as shooting got underway stunned the crew. A source told The Sun: 'The cast and crew were horrified. She looked a right state. Princess is used to her mum’s antics but a lot of people were really shocked.'
The source added: 'It seemed like an attention-grabbing move to make people talk about her – like she can’t bear to be out of the spotlight for one moment.'

Lip Surgery Details
During an episode of her podcast, The Katie Price Show, she told her sister Sophie: 'I'm doing it awake, not on anaesthetic... going to Brussels because it needs doing.' After the procedure, she shared a selfie on Instagram showing her bruised and swollen pout, telling followers to 'trust the process'. She said: 'Hey guys, yes, before you start, I know what I look like. Yesterday, I was in Brussels and I had all the scar tissue taken out of my lips so they're really swollen at the moment.'
Public Appearance
Days later, Price attended the premiere of her Sky Original documentary, Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, in London, where her lips appeared less swollen, though a scar was visible below her nose. She wore a figure-hugging, backless black dress with platform heels.
Plans for More Surgery
Price also hinted at future surgery, saying in a clip: 'Oh my God, my nose still looks wonky, but I'm going to have a nose job.' In another clip, she mocked her 'quacking' lips while Princess watched and said: 'Her lips, don't approve.' Price added: 'It is what it is, trust the process. I'm still going to eat a burger, though. Have put some makeup on it to cover the bruises up. But quack, quack.'
