Katie Price has launched a furious rant against her ex-husband Peter Andre, accusing him of excluding her from their daughter Princess’s 18th birthday party. The former glamour model, 47, claimed she was deliberately left out of the celebration, which was hosted by Peter, 52, and his wife Emily MacDonagh.
A source close to Katie said the situation has left her devastated. “There has been a build-up of tension recently and it all came to a head last week over Princess’s birthday. Katie was devastated and felt like she had basically been banned from attending,” the source said. “Falling out with her children would be her worst fear.”
On her podcast, The Katie Price Show, Katie alleged that Princess’s management company, The Can Group, prevented Princess from being seen with her mother. “If certain people would let her be seen with me,” she said. However, the firm denied the claim, stating: “We have never – and would never – stop Princess from seeing Katie.”
Another source said the party was a small three-hour event, and that Katie was in Dubai at the time. “Pete and Emily simply put on a three-hour party for Princess’ 18th, which is totally normal for any child of parents who have split. It’s such a shame – this should have been about Princess.”
Katie also faced an embarrassing social media blunder when she posted a birthday message for Princess two days early, attracting online trolls. She later deleted it and shared a correct message on the actual birthday. Additionally, Katie revealed she is not involved in Princess’s upcoming ITV reality show, saying: “I’m not in it. Certain people don’t think it’s good for Princess to be seen with me.” Her sister Sophie added: “You aren’t on brand, Kate. You’re too risky.”
