Katie Price's Husband Challenges Comedian Dapper Laughs to Boxing Match Over Harvey Joke

Lee Andrews, the husband of Katie Price, has vowed to 'knock out' comedian Daniel O'Reilly, known as Dapper Laughs, after he allegedly made another inappropriate joke about their disabled son Harvey. The threat came via Instagram, where Andrews posted a sparring video and challenged O'Reilly to a Misfits boxing match in June.

Katie Price had earlier called out the comic, demanding he be cancelled for the remark. She wrote on social media: 'So I hear last night @dappersinstagram made a joke about my son Harvey AGAIN... makes this man a disgusting human being.' Harvey, 23, has Prader-Willi syndrome, autism, and septo-optic dysplasia, which causes blindness, and requires round-the-clock care.

In his challenge, Lee Andrews said he would not train for the fight, adding: 'I'll knock your fat t**t all over like the stodgy little round punching bag you are son.' He also reposted Katie's plea for O'Reilly to leave their son alone.

This is not the first time the Price family has had to defend Harvey from comedians' jokes. In 2010, Katie criticised Frankie Boyle for a dig about Harvey, then aged eight, and later condemned Channel 4 for repeating the show. She accused the broadcaster of 'embracing and exploiting discrimination'.

Channel 4's Head of Comedy at the time defended the broadcast, stating it was 'important that a space on terrestrial TV exists for comedy that takes risks and pushes boundaries'. Katie countered that it was 'disgusting' to ridicule people for disability in a way they would not over race or sexual orientation.
