Katie Price has delivered another blow to husband Lee Andrews by declaring she would love to enter the Love Island villa and date 'real people'. The former glamour model, 48, is technically married after she wed Lee in January, just weeks after meeting him, but things have not got off to the best start for the newlyweds.
Lee Andrews' Legal Troubles
Last month, things took a chaotic turn when Lee disappeared for days. It eventually emerged that he had been locked up in Dubai's Al Awir prison before being released. He is now reportedly back behind bars over unpaid debts.
Katie's Love Island Confession
In a new interview on the podcast Not My Bagg, Katie admitted that if she were single, she would love to be a Love Island bombshell. She confessed: "If I was single... Love Island I'd love to do that as I always muck about, like if I walked in like, 'Hi everyone I'm Pricey'. I'd love it! If I were single I'd love to do Love Island."
She clarified that she would not do the celebrity spin-off but the regular season, adding: "I wouldn't want to do a celebrity one. I would want to meet real people, when I say real people, people I don't know anything about."
Career Reboot and I'm A Celebrity Return
The comments come after Katie released the explosive Sky docuseries Katie Price: Nothing to Hide, which she says has helped her relaunch her career and open many doors. The star said: "I feel like I have been in the washing machine and I have come out with the knowledge, experience, my mind's re-set and I am the best version I will ever be. And I feel like I am starting my career again which is weird - watch out the next 30 years!"
Katie also revealed she would love to do I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here for a third time after having success in 2004 and 2009. She declared: "I would definitely go back in third time lucky! I'll put some testicles back in my mouth, and Kangaroo anus yes I ate that too and it tastes like minced meat, cold minced meat a bit."
Conflicting Memories of the Jungle
However, she admitted the jungle is a tough place for her as it holds some painful memories. She met ex-husband Peter Andre on the show in 2004. She shared: "There's so many good moments, amazing, but because I know obviously I met Pete in there, it didn't end well, so it's like conflicting my brain - Like amazing, met a guy I loved, fell in love with, got married, had Junior and Princess and then it ended s***."
